Leading by Example
Although you have probably heard of the YMCA, there is more to our Y than swim and gym. The Y is a community benefit organization, dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. For more than 150 years, we've proudly helped our neighbors learn, grow and thrive. Yet, we can do so much more.
Annual Campaign
Our Annual Campaign is a community-wide effort to raise funds for children, teens, families and adults of all ages who need financial assistance to participate in our quality, affordable programs and services. We rely on generosity of individuals like you as well as corporate and foundation partners and sponsors so everyone has the opportunity to come to the Y. Please join your neighbors by giving to the YMCA Annual Campaign today.
We appreciate your involvement as we grow and build a better community. You can partner with us as financially, or by giving your time and skills to help us impact lives, transform the community and build relationships in the Portland and Vancouver area.
Your Investment
Partnering with us allows our Y to address some of the communities most pressing issues. Let’s work together to decrease childhood obesity and loneliness, increase high school graduation rates and community nurturing and so much more.
- Give a child the opportunity to learn a valuable life-saving skill and a lifelong healthy activity through swim lessons—$100
- Give a child a fun-filled month of activities and character development for a child in after school care—$300
- Give three children a week with superior role models and exciting day camp activities—$500
- Give a child a week of character development, meals and relationship building at YMCA Camp Collins—$620
Thank you for considering a gift to the YMCA. Every gift is important.

Volunteer With Us
The Y is a volunteer organization that provides services with the help of 3,500 volunteers. Like thousands of YMCAs around the world, our association is overseen by volunteers who tirelessly serve on boards and committees. So much so, that volunteers outnumber paid staff three-to-one in the delivery of programs and services.
Our volunteers serve in a variety of ways. The sky's the limit in how you can contribute your time and energy to making an impact in our communities.

-
Impact Lives
Volunteers are key to a successful sports league. Each season we need volunteers to coach our youth sports teams. Volunteer Coaches will typically have one practice per week and games on Saturdays. Coaches are needed most during Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. We need positive role models that can provide a fun and safe atmosphere for the kids.
